About the Empowering Entrepreneurship Initiative:

In August 2020, we launched the Empowering Entrepreneurship Initiative with 2 COVID-19 Relief Programs to support young businesses in Egypt, Jordan, Ghana, Mexico, Kenya and Indonesia in overcoming the challenges of the pandemic. As we approach the end of the year, we have now onboarded 330 businesses across diverse sectors and various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, all working towards sustaining their operations, growing their business potential and learning how to lead and strive through the crisis.

Right now, young businesses are at a crucial stage where they have to weather economic instability, adapt to new workplace norms, rapidly restructure their operations, pivot through market and consumer changes – all while keeping everything going. To manage this, it is crucial to have dedicated guidance; where they can learn from the honest and realistic perspectives of someone who has been there before; who has led their teams through crisis, encountered similar challenges, and went through building companies in the same fields.
