enpact e.V. is looking for a Freelance Expert to join our international team, with a special focus on community management!
Are you interested in supporting the development of a growing NGO working at the intersection of international cooperation and entrepreneurship?
The Freelance Expert will support a project that aims to build bridges across European entrepreneurship ecosystems with the aim of encouraging a stronger economic integration through facilitating partnerships, knowledge sharing and resource exchange between entrepreneurs and stakeholders. The project’s first editions focus on Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Ukraine, and Berlin.
Through regular networking events, dedicated training and workshops, and exchange trips, the project will provide entrepreneurs across the Western Balkans and Ukraine with market access and business development support, and access to opportunities for international growth.
The project will run from September 2024 until the end of December 2025.
Scope of work
The freelancer will be responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of the following project components:
- Information Events in Berlin: Organize two half-day events to introduce the startup ecosystems of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Ukraine to the Berlin startup community.
- Exchange Program: Support with the development and organization of an exchange program for young entrepreneurs from the West Balkans and Ukraine in Berlin.
- Delegation Trips: Organize a delegation trip to Sarajevo and Tirana for Berlin-based startups and support organizations to facilitate knowledge transfer and partnership building.
- Berlin Landing Pad: Develop and implement a program to host a group of startups and support organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Ukraine in Berlin for knowledge exchange and networking.
Expert profile
This service contract is open on equal terms to any natural or legal person, regardless of their domicile or seat. Eligibility is solely dependent on the presentation of an offer. Due to the specific nature of the technical expertise required for the deliverables of this tender, it is expected that the applicant demonstrates:
- Proven experience in event management, project management, and community building.
- Strong network within the Berlin startup ecosystem.
- Understanding of startup development needs and access to relevant resources.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages (German, Bosnian, Albanian, Ukrainian) as an asset.
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations and/or within the development cooperation sector is an asset.
