Programme Manager
We are looking for someone to join our international team as a junior programme manager. You should have gained previous work experience and are someone who is proactively seeking opportunities to create dialogue, exchange and mutual benefits for the organisation, our participants, partners, stakeholders – and, last but not least – yourself. You should be a strong communicator that understands how to navigate at different levels in different cultures. You should be able to focus, keeping our community engaged and enthusiastic about enpacts mission “empowering entrepreneurship”. On a personal level, an up-beat positive attitude will be best suited for the role. Furthermore, the ideal candidate has existing experience, networks and knowledge in different African countries
Responsibilities:
- Working on different project teams, implementing different products from the enpact portfolio, with a focus on entrepreneurial support (mentoring & delegation trips)
- Building and expanding enpact’s activities and network
- Organizing events, roundtables and workshops
- Representing enpact on a regularly basis at networking events
- Engaging with and managing enpact’s community and programme participants
- Engaging with different startup ecosystem actors
- Readiness to travel
Qualitfications:
- Experience in entrepreneurship and business
- Experience in project management
- Interest in international development cooperation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proactive and hands-on attitude, fast learner
- Proficient in office tools and project management methodologies (Microsoft, Google, Asana, Scrum)
- 2+ years of work experience
- knowledge about startup ecosystems in Africa (different countries and regions – at least 1)
Languages
- English: excellent written and oral command required
- French: would be an asset
- German: would be an asset
