We believe in entrepreneurship as a powerful vehicle for reducing economic inequality and advancing social prosperity.
International development cooperation is an ideal instrument for this – but its approach needs to be changed. We promote the direct support of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship enablers. Giving direct financial support to the people who are taking risks increases the impact of international development cooperation and reduces the amount of top-down resource-intensive measures.
Over the last 2 years, we provided support to 900 women entrepreneurs to build, lead and grow their businesses.
Through their work, our entrepreneurs have engaged and supported more than 9,000 suppliers, staff and service providers across the world.
Our Startup Haus in Cairo is also our hub for Africa. It connected over 3,500 entrepreneurs, ecosystem enables, mentors, and other creative and innovative minds – allowing them to develop solutions and partnerships around their passions.
We are proud to have provided nearly 7 Million Euros in direct support for entrepreneurs around the world since 2020. In the last year, over 90% of businesses were sustainability-oriented and directly committed to promoting local culture and products.
We bridged ecosystems and sparked collaborations through 30+ global networking events and 12+ delegation trips facilitated online, offline and in hybrid formats.
