The Regional Mentoring Program was a project that targeted 12 young entrepreneurs and VSEs based in the internal regions of Tunisia. It lasted 5 months, from the end of June 2018 to the beginning of November 2018.
The aim of the program was to strengthen the awareness and tools required to consider entrepreneurship as a career path and to equip potential entrepreneurs with the necessary skills, particularly in marginalized regions. Throughout the selection and implementation of the program, special emphasis was placed on the promotion of women who encountered particular barriers in their entrepreneurial projects.
Key outcomes from the program:
– 49% of participants were women-led startups
– 80% of participants increased their customer base throughout the program
– 70% of participants expanded their teams after the program
– 65% of participants increased their revenues after the program
