enpact e.V. is looking for a Project Manager to join us in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Albania!

enpact works with entrepreneurs and support organizations across all development stages. Our approach is designed to facilitate quick and efficient access to the crucial resources for sustainable growth: financial support, training, mentoring, and network development.
Since its foundation, enpact has implemented more than 40 projects and supported over 3.200 businesses in 20 countries. Currently, enpact is operating in North Africa and Eastern Europe.

About the project
Together with GIZ Albania, enpact is conducting the project “Growth and European perspectives through capacity building for entrepreneurial support organizations”. The objective of the project is to address and reduce the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Albanian business ecosystem by enriching the portfolios of local chambers of commerce and support organizations with new comprehensive business development services to be offered to their member-SMEs.
About the position:
This project-based role is ideal for an impact-driven and resilient professional with a strong problem-solving and hands-on attitude, topped with intercultural and strategic thinking competencies. In this role, you will be the focal point for the project participants and project stakeholders, as well as enpact representative in Albania. The eligible candidate must be an individual person or legal entity that is able to enter a freelancing agreement with a German entity.
- Location: Tirana, Albania
- Start date: January 2024
- Working hours: Part-time
- Duration: Project-based consultancy contract until the end of January 2025, with possible extension depending on the project
Your main responsibility will be:
- Supporting project team during the outreach and selection process of local, regional, and national chambers or business associations.
- Assisting in developing and conducting capacity and needs assessment of different chambers of commerce and business associations.
- Organizing the logistics and supervising project-related events: workshops, trainings, bootcamps (in presence and online).
- Assisting in project content development.
- Coordinating communications with the project partners and stakeholders.
- Supporting the project team in coordinating online and offline visibility campaigns and events.
- Coordinating the reporting, monitoring, and evaluation of the project phases in accordance with deadlines.
You will be reporting to the project lead in Berlin.
Your profile:
- 3-5 years experience in project management and coordination.
- Experience in workshop organizing, curriculum development, online and offline events
- Sensitivity for diverse stakeholders and different cultural backgrounds.
- Solid understanding of the Albanian business ecosystem acquired through incubators, accelerators, hackathons, and similar entrepreneurial initiatives.
- Previous experience working with chambers and business associations.
- Language requirements: English at level C1 (As per European Framework of Reference for Language), Albanian as a native language.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, project management applications, and interest in learning new tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a range of different cultural backgrounds, team-player attitude.

Contractual Details:
This is a freelance position. The successful candidate will work on a contractual basis and will be responsible for submitting invoices for services rendered. This role does not constitute employment with enpact, and as such, you will be responsible for managing your own taxes, insurance, and benefits as a freelancer.
