Biography
Martin Vogelsang is an Impact Investor and Social Entrepreneur with a background in the banking and strategic consulting business. He has as expertise in creating, testing and launching business models between for-profits and not-for-profits by leveraging skill sets and creating models around sustainability and self-replication leading to sector/industry transformation. Martin is a Member of the Board at goodcarbon Foundation in Berlin. Before taking over this new role he was the Managing Director of Bundesinitiative Impact Investing (BIII).
He is also a partner at Social Synergy from Mumbai in India which invests patient capital and on-the-ground technical advisory to start-up social enterprises as well as mature non-profit organizations, supporting them in developing and streamlining their business models to leverage their potential. He also launched Fem Sustainable Social Solutions (FemS3), a social enterprise-incubator based out of Bangalore (India) focusing on seed investments and capacity building.
