Biography
After 14 years in Higher Education across Africa and Europe, questions that inspire Tino concern how educational institutions can leverage education-as-a-business principles more effectively without sacrificing quality and accountability, while increasing accessibility, innovation, and equity.
Tino currently serves as the Director of Master’s Programs at ESMT Berlin, after serving as Head of Recruitment & Enrollment at EBS University in Germany and leading the Admissions Department at the African Leadership University for its campuses in Rwanda and Mauritius. Before EBS & ALU, Tino headed Admissions & Enrollment for IE Business School’s International MBA, Tech MBA, and Master in Management programs in Spain.
Being a lifelong learner, Tino holds a BA in Communication & Media Studies from Clemson University, an MA in International Management from IE Business School, and an EMBA from ESMT Berlin. On a personal front, Tino is an avid tennis player, although in the last few years, his age has caught up with him. Through his Future Kids Foundation, he and his family have been trying to pay it forward.
