The Make it Work project is designed to support medium-sized businesses in Morocco in building sustainable businesses, creating jobs, and scaling globally, particularly in Germany. The project provides entrepreneurship training, tailored mentorship, and global market access activities.

In-depth assessment
Of your business model to identify areas of improvement and refine your value proposition and marketing style for internationalization.
Intensive 2-day bootcamp in Morocco
with entrepreneurs in a similar stage of development and international startup mentors to exchange experience and build connections.
Dedicated mentoring for 6 months
with an international business mentor, tailored to your needs and experienced in early-stage market entry, particularly to Germany and the EU market.
All-expenses paid market discovery trip to Berlin
facilitating your entry into the German and broader EU markets through visiting key hubs, connections to potential clients and partners, and networking opportunities.

Who can apply for the "Make it Work" project?
This is the right project for you if your business:
- Is currently a medium-sized enterprise (You have at least 51 employees and an annual turnover exceeding 10 million MAD)
- Has high internationalization potential
- Has scalable, innovation-driven business models
- Is formally registered in Morocco
- Demonstrates high traction in the local market
- Shows potential for and commitment to sustainable job creation
- Operates with a tech-first or digital-first model (e.g. working in fintech, edtech, healthtech, e-commerce, agritech or mobility)
- Is women-led or has a gender-balanced team
- Has commitment to diversity and inclusion, especially of persons with disabilities, whether in your team or through your products/services
How does the application process work?

Review eligibility and selection criteria
Download and carefully review the eligibility and selection criteria document to familiarize yourself with the program requirements. Prepare all necessary documents/information in advance to facilitate a smooth application process.

Fill the application form
Follow the link to the application on Google Forms and fill in the basic information about yourself, your business, and your motivation for joining the program. Please ensure that you fill in your answers in English.

Upload your documents
If your application is selected to proceed to the next round, you will receive an email from us within one week of the deadline. You will be asked to upload your passport/ID, your business registration documents, and your company profile.

Join us for an online chat
The top-scoring applicants will receive an invitation to join us for a 30-minute online interview to talk more about your business and the type of support you’re looking for.

Keep an eye on your email
Following the interview, you will receive an e-mail with the following steps within three weeks. The email will notify you if you are accepted or share feedback if we are unable to accommodate you in the program. Please also check your spam folder.

FAQs
The Make it Work project will require you to work closely with an international mentor, and take part in workshops, networking activities and meetings in Morocco and Germany with an international audience. This means that an intermediate understanding and command of English is required to make the most out of the project.
No, the project does not offer your business direct financial support. However, all expenses for the bootcamp in Morocco, the roadshow to Germany and the market access missions are paid. This includes transportation, accommodation, and a set number of meals/food allowance.
We want to ensure that you can easily balance between participating in the Make it Work project and running your business.
You will need to commit two days in the first week of February, a week in Germany, and a week between May and July 2026 for the market access mission. During the two-months learning track, you will take part in 3 sessions a month. One will be in person for 2 days, while the other two will be online for half days.
Check-ins with your mentor can be scheduled according to both your schedules to maintain the utmost flexibility, with a minimum frequency of one session per month.
No, the project follows a hybrid format. Your in-person presence will be required in the launch retreat, in two workshops during the training track, in the roadshow to Germany and in the market access missions. You will also receive 2 in-person visits on-site from your mentor. The training track will include online sessions; and a self-learning approach.
