Boosting support available for entrepreneurs across Algeria

Ecosystem Builders Algeria

Ecosystem Builders Algeria aims to strengthen Algeria’s agritech innovation ecosystem by enhancing the support available to entrepreneurs and empowering their work at every stage. Through institutional capacity building, direct support for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups, and international collaboration, the project contributes to economic diversification, sustainable job creation, and digital and green innovation.

Launched in April 2026, the project brings together up to 25 Startup Support Organizations (SSOs), up to 40 aspiring entrepreneurs, and up to 25 startups from across Algeria. Each group follows a tailored learning journey designed to strengthen entrepreneurial support services, transform scalable ideas into viable businesses, and accelerate high-potential startups toward regional and international market readiness.

Through intensive training bootcamps, thematic workshops, technical assistance, grant funding, expert mentoring, and facilitated international networking activities, participants develop the skills, tools, and partnerships needed to strengthen Algeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The project also creates opportunities for peer-to-peer exchange, knowledge sharing, and cross-border collaboration, helping participants expand their networks and build lasting connections across Africa and Europe.
