Boosting support for entrepreneurs across Algeria

The financial support can cover eligible business-related expenses that contribute to the company’s development and growth. This may include product development, marketing, accreditation, and other operational costs, based on the company’s roadmap and priorities set at the beginning of the project during roadmap development.

Coaching and training sessions will be delivered primarily online, and attendance at all program touchpoints is mandatory. Optional in-person sessions may also be organized in Algeria to bring participants together. These sessions will be coordinated through local partners and in close collaboration with the selected participants.

Applications are evaluated based on:

The completeness and accuracy of the submitted documents, including a pitch deck that clearly and accurately reflects the company’s current traction and stage of development.

The innovation and relevance of the solution: The extent to which the solution addresses a clear and relevant challenge or need in the agricultural sector. Evaluators will consider what is innovative or improved about the product, service, process, technology, or business model, as well as how the solution differs from existing alternatives and the value it brings to its target users or market.

A separate selection process will be launched during the program, with its own eligibility criteria. Selection will take into account your progress and performance throughout the program, as well as your company’s potential to benefit from international market opportunities.

The destination and timing of the market access missions will be tailored to the specific needs, readiness, and internationalization potential of the selected companies.

A validated MVP is a functional version of your product or service that has been tested with real users or customers and shown to address a genuine market need. The solution must be more than a mock-up or prototype and should be accessible through a product link or demonstrated through a video.

Applicants should provide evidence of validation, which may include the number of users or testers and verifiable evidence of usage, customer feedback, sales or revenue, purchase orders, letters of intent, test agreements, or partnerships. Applicants should also demonstrate that at least one improvement or modification has been made to the product or service based on feedback from users or customers.

The solution does not need to be fully developed or commercially scaled, but there should be clear evidence that it is functional, has been tested with real users, and provides value to its target users.
